The Big Fiddle Festival is the highest session in Ireland and the first of many to come!
This annual festival will bring International, national and local musicians together to celebrate the culture of traditional Irish music in Ireland’s highest village, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow.

Saturday - April 30th
8.00pm. Traditional, Folk & Rebel sessions in one of the five venues.
Sunday - May 1st
2.00pm. Street busking, food markets, eat on the street, fun for kids, Irish comedy, music workshops, Irish dancing and pub sessions all day & night in all venues.
Monday - may 2nd
6.00pm. Closing ceremony in one of the five venues.
Wicklow, the garden of Ireland is the perfect location for those to gather from near and far. Although only 15 minutes from Dublin’s M50, Roundwood boasts all the characteristics of a typical historic and cultural Irish village.
Prices: 'Weekend all venue' passes available in all venues throughout the weekend. Weekend Adult passes are €5 and Children are free. Under 18’s will only be permitted entry to licensed venues when accompanied by an adult.
General Format: Musicians will be going around leading sessions. Programmes will be available on the day
